Unicoi Outfitters is proud to be the only Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Outfitter in North Georgia, operating a full-service fly shop here at Nacoochee Village, and offers professional guide service on miles of exclusive trophy trout streams as well as public streams. We are permitted to guide by the US Forest Service on the Chattahoochee, Sumter, and Nantahala National Forests.

Our specialty is teaching newcomers to the sport, and we are famous for the "Gilligan Special" - an introduction to fly fishing for those that have always wanted to try it, but have never had the opportunity. The Gilligan includes a hour of instruction, followed by two hours on the water with the chance of hooking into a trophy trout on the Nacoochee Bend section of the Chattahoochee River. Just call our shop at 706-878-3083 to make a reservation. The Gilligan Special is the three hour experience that leads to a lifetime of adventure! In May and June, we also participate in Orvis Fly Fishing 101 and 201 - another great introduction to this sport.

Our fly shop offers a complete range of equipment to outfit someone for fly fishing, featuring some of the finest gear available to today's sportsmen: Orvis, Winston, Sage, St. Croix, TFO, Abel, Ross, Lamson, Simms, Native Watercraft, Scientific Anglers, Cortland, Rio, and Fishpond are just a few of the brands we carry. We also have a variety of fly tying materials and supplies for the tier in addition to over 1000 different flies in stock for those that don't tie their own. And if you're not yet a fly fisherman, Unicoi Outfitters also offers a variety of spinning gear suitable for north Georgia trout fishing.
